Speech

Speaking is an exceedingly complex process.


The whole body, indeed, the whole person is involved. Posture, breathing, voice, the movements of speech organs and the coordination of these elements are necessary for speech.


If even one of these components is affected, speaking can be difficult.


As a speech therapists I advise, diagnose, treat and care for people of all ages who have difficulties with speech.

Language

Language serves people to communicate there thoughts, feelings and needs.

In addition to the spoken language, we also know the body language.

The messages are transmitted by facial expressions and gestures.

Sign language serves people with a hearing and voice disability.

If language is impaired, the person suffers.

As a speech therapists I advise, diagnose, treat and care for individuals at any age with impairments of language.


The goal is to regain the ability to communicate again, or to facilitate it.

Voice

The voice is similar to the fingerprint, individually, each person has her own voice.

 

Voice expresses a lot about a person.


Vocalization is a very complex and sensitive process that is dependent on many factors.


If the voice is impaired, the individual is impaired in its ability to communicate.

All areas of life may be impacted by it.


As a speech therapist I advise, diagnose, treat and care for individuals at any age with disabilities of vocalization.
